Odoo weekly roundup (2–8 Nov 2026): Hungarian e-invoice fix, AI coding skills, Odoo 20 AI webinar

Odoo news and changes, 2–8 November 2026: Hungarian e-invoicing, AI coding-agent guidance and the Odoo 20 AI webinar

Coverage: 2–8 November 2026 (Europe/Budapest). The most relevant change for Hungarian users was a fix to the Hungarian e-invoicing module (l10n_hu_edi), which was merged into the official odoo/odoo repository on 3 November 2026. Once the module was installed (it depends on the debit note module), every printed Hungarian customer invoice showed the date as “Debit Note Date” instead of “Invoice Date”. After the fix, the invoice report labels invoices and credit notes correctly. It also adds a regression test. If your printed invoices showed the wrong label, the fix comes with the next update of your Odoo build. Source: odoo/odoo commit a38ce0b.

Developers should also note an addition to Odoo's official skills directory in the odoo/odoo repository. This directory holds guidance for AI coding agents and has existed since September 2026. On 7 November 2026, Odoo added a rule saying that a model's _order should end on a unique field, so that sorting stays deterministic (commit 99bd946). Looking ahead, Odoo has announced a free English webinar, “Odoo AI: From Ideas to Action”, for 10 November 2026 at 11:00 PST (20:00 Budapest time). It will cover Odoo 20 AI features such as creating records from PDFs, automating helpdesk tasks and using Ask AI to analyse a database (odoo.com event page).
